Colin Powell Endorses Barack Obama (Monday, October 20, 2008)

Republican and former Secretary of State and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, retired General Colin Powell has endorsed Barack Obama for President. Not only that, but he has done it in the most eloquent and forceful way. Take seven minutes and watch the video linked from the LA Times article. Particularly if you're a Republican. Powell knows what it is to be a hero, and he backs Barack Obama, and for all the most important reasons.
